Course Overview

Business Intelligence, also referred to as BI - is the collective term for technologies and software applications which are used to gather, provide access to, and analyse data and information about operations throughout the enterprise. Business Intelligence systems allow companies to understand factors affecting their business, such sales metrics, production, internal operations, which can help organisations make well-informed business decisions.

This course is the combination of our SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (SSAS) training courses and has been written to cover all the main aspects of designing and building data warehouses and cubes using SQL Server 2008, Analysis Services and Integration Services, and how to make best use of the reporting functionality of Reporting Services.

For those Microsoft students looking to improve their skills with SQL Server, this Microsoft training course would be a good start.
