• Understand fundamental networking and TCP/IP concepts such as addressing, subnetting and the differences between IPv4 and IPv6.
• Manage network services such as DHCP and DNS.
• Implement Routing and Remote Access solutions using Windows Server 2008
• Implement complex Windows Server 2008 security solutions using multi-factor authentication, IPSec and RADIUS.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have attended ONE of the following courses OR have equivalent knowledge.

• W2K33ADM Windows Server 2003 Administration

OR

• W2K83ADM Windows Server 2008 Administration

In addition, attendance of the following course or equivalent knowledge is highly advantageous as some knowledge from it is assumed during this course.

• W2K84ADS Active Directory Design and Implementation

Knowledge of managing Windows desktop operating systems is assumed during this course.
