Course Overview

SharePoint 2010 is Microsoft's latest enterprise-wide solution for both internal collaboration, and externally with partners and customers.

This course is aimed squarely at staff with no previous software development background, who will need to be able to create and maintain SharePoint sites for project collaboration, document handling, and setting up intranet and internet portals, using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010.

Delegates who are interested in previous versions of Sharepoint can attend this course but note that although back end functionality is largely similar, there are differences to the User Interface and although these differences can be explained, delegates will need to consolidate these differences in their own time after the course, as the hands-on sessions will be in 2010.

Microsoft Office SharePoint 2010 Training Course is for Schools, Colleges, Councils and other public sector organisations.

The course has been designed with the Public Sector as well Private Sector organisations in mind.

The course will benefit IT managers, helpdesk support analysts, editorial / web content providers, and team leaders from organisations such as hospitals, schools, local government, central government, and other public sector offices.

On completion of the Microsoft training course, Microsoft users will be well equipped to use SharePoint
