Our very own Head of Propositions, James Hendy has been away during April on a three week trek to Everest Base Camp in aid of Cruse Bereavement Care.

Cruse is the UK's leading bereavement care organisation. Through its network of 135 branches across England, Wales and Northern Ireland;Cruse responds to nearly 100,000 requests for support each year.
Established in 1959, Cruse Bereavement Care takes care of the life that's left providing advice, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved (children, young people and adults), whenever or however the death occurred. The service is provided by trained, experienced volunteers and is confidential and free.

Having recently returnedJames says,
"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has made a donation to date - it's a great cause so keep the money rolling in. I'm pleased to report I kept my end of the bargain by reaching Everest Base Camp and one of its neighbouring peaks: Kala Pattar. It was a couple of really hard weeks slog but absolutely worth it as the experience and scenery are truly unforgettable. I look forward to returning in future years to make a summit push!"

We would like to say well done to James, what a great achievement!
