Overview
This training course is designed to prepare participants in implementing an information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the best practices of an ISMS and a framework for its continual management and improvement.
After attending the training course, you can take the exam. If you successfully pass it, you can apply for a “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer” credential, which demonstrates your ability and practical knowledge to implement an ISMS based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001.

• Provisional Implementer: N/A
• Implementer: Two years, with one in Information Security Management and 200 project hours
• Lead Implementer: Five years, with two in Information Security Management and 300 hours
• Senior Lead Implementer: Ten years, seven in Information Security Management, 1,000 hours

The PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer training course is designed to prepare you to implement AI management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001. It provides you with the necessary competencies to effectively translate AI strategies into actionable solutions. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI implementation best practices and a framework for its successful integration within organizations, equipping you with the hands-on expertise to drive AIMS implementation projects.
After successfully completing the course and passing the exam, you can apply for the “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer” credential that demonstrates your ability to effectively implement AI strategies.
Day 1: Introduction to ISO/IEC 42001 and the initiation of an AI Management System implementation
Day 2: Planning the implementation of an AI Management System
Day 3: Implementation of an AI Management System
Day 4: AI Management System monitoring, continual improvement, and preparation for the certification audit
Exam details:
The “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer” 3hr exam, which is included in your course, meets all the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements. It covers the following competency domains:
Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
Domain 2: Artificial intelligence management system requirements
Domain 3: Planning of an AIMS implementation based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 4: Implementation of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 5: Monitoring and measurement of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 6: Continual improvement and preparation for an AIMS certification audit

What's included:
Participants receive training course materials containing over 400 pages of information, practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
An attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants who have attended the training course.
Candidates who have completed the training course but failed the exam are eligible to retake the exam once for free within 12 months from the initial date of the exam.
