Overview

HTML5 and CSS3 are changing how web pages are developed in some exciting new ways. The trick is learning how to use this new functionality as quickly, as easily, and as sensibly as possible. That's where this course comes in. Whether you're new to web development, or whether you're an experienced web developer who's been frustrated by the slow pace and gaping holes in the other training you've tried, this course was designed for YOU.

Audience

This course is for anyone who wants to develop web pages the professional way, using HTML5 semantic tags to structure the content and CSS to format and lay it out on the page. This includes budding web developers, experienced web developers who want to update their HTML/CSS skills to the new standards, and web developers who still use tables for page layout when they should be using CSS.

This course is also suitable for web programmers, whether they're working in JavaScript or using a server-side language like PHP, ASP.NET, or Java servlets and JSPs. Web programmers are often surprised at the intricacies involved in writing good HTML and CSS code, understanding that piece makes them more effective members of the development team.

Skills Gained

This course aims to provide the delegate with the knowledge to be able to integrate into a website HTML5 and CSS3 features such as audio and video, media queries, drag and drop, and web sockets. It also aims to enable the delegate to be able to interpret, write, and troubleshoot complex JavaScript code exploiting strict mode,closures,IIFEs,ES6,functional programming, asynchronous JavaScript, and reactive programming.
