Kelvin Durcan is the founding owner and Managing Director of CourseMonster. Having worked within the industry for over 14 years and holding strong experience in the internet sector across strategy, marketing, sales, technical development and implementation, Kelvin has set his mission to build a global presence for CourseMonster.
Since launching CourseMonster, Kelvin has built the commercial organisation into a multi-million pound business with a team spanning across the UK, Europe and into Australasia. Prior to founding CourseMonster, Kelvin held the position of Infrastructure Manager at AXA Investment Managers, where he worked with AXA France to create one of the largest technology-led Asset Management companies of today. Over his career he has also worked extensively with HP, IBM and Honeywell specialising in Business Analysis and Systems Management.
Kelvin holds a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate.
With a background in both learning development, Tim has worked as an IT professional since leaving university as a mature student. Prior to joining CourseMonster, Tim worked at FunTech, a unique computer training centre for children, where he developed lesson plans and curricula for children aged 5 to 18, delivered training, and mentored students studying GCSE and A Level programming projects.
Upon joining CourseMonster, Tim moved full time into a developer role, until being promoted to Technical Director. He has used his skills to engage with a diverse range of IT projects from architecting, designing, developing and managing product delivery, as well as leading the programming team to build and evolve CourseMonster's unique patent pending software system. He is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality of some 15000 courses along with 50,000 training dates which pass through the database systems every week.
Janet has over 25 years' experience in the IT training industry. With a successful track record she is a recognised leader in her field. During her career Janet has assisted organisations in both the public and private sector in implementing unique learning solutions ranging from classroom training, virtual online classrooms, custom interactive multimedia, and performance support solutions. Janet has a strong sales management and business development background. She focuses on business and identifying the impact learning can have on the operation of an organisation, providing learning solutions that are embedded into tasks, roles and business processes.
She has experience in both hard skills learning initiatives such as software rollouts and soft skills initiatives such as project management, ITIL and human performance management. Her experience expands across the world where she has successfully managed teams and implemented learning solutions in the USA, Europe and Asia for major blue chip organisation.
Rambabu Buchi, an Engineering graduate, is an experienced software professional over web technologies, with a career of about 8 years in total that includes, expertise in 'Project Management' (3+yrs) and extensive grasp on development skills. He brings in an exceptional combination of multi-tasking; an unparallel proficiency in understanding the end-end project management, leading developer's teams and importantly working across on about ten projects at one time. His excellent communications and resource management skills make him a great team player and technology partner to work with. He is quiet smart and efficient worker if asked to work on new technologies and business solutions. He holds interests in making long road trips and in the latest he is picking up curiosity in book- reading.
