This course is highly interactive and consists of theory coupled with plenty of practical sessions. It will introduce delegates to the creation, security and maintenance of objects in an Oracle database.
Together with Oracle SQL, this course provides the perfect prerequisite knowledge to embark on training for Oracle PL/SQL Programming, or administrative roles such as Oracle Database Administration.
On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
Create and maintain a range of database objects
Control access to those objects for different users and roles
Identify the appropriate objects for use with particular aspects of query design
This course is aimed at those already experienced with SQL for data retrieval. It covers the use and maintenance of other database objects and facilities and how this enhances the running and construction of SQL scripts.
This course is suitable for all recent versions of Oracle, up to and including 12c.
Delegates should have a good basic understanding of Oracle SQL. Previous attendance of our Oracle SQL course is highly recommended.
If you need training for 3 or more people, you should ask us about onsite training. Putting aside the obvious location benefit, content can be customised to better meet your business objectives and more can be covered than in a public classroom. It's a cost effective option.
