During this course delegates will learn to use the standard features and facilitates of Oracle to conduct routine administration and maintenance of an Oracle database without external assistance.
The course is for support and operations staff who are required to provide ad hoc assistance to the Oracle DBA function. Such delegates might include PC support, mainframe operators or UNIX system administrators.
This course can be tailored to any release version of Oracle - please confirm your release when booking.
Delegates must have:
A good deal of experience using an Oracle based system.
A strong understanding of SQL and SQL*Plus, and preferably PL/SQL as well.
Attending our Oracle SQL Part 1 course would give the ideal level of knowledge in preparation for this course.
This course is available on site only. Please call for details.
If you need training for 3 or more people, you should ask us about onsite training. Putting aside the obvious location benefit, content can be customised to better meet your business objectives and more can be covered than in a public classroom. It's a cost effective option.
