This course is a useful pre-requisite to other IIB training and also useful for those wanting to gain an appreciation of the product, it aims to:

  • Explain the role of an integration bus.
  • Explain the architecture of IBM Integration Bus.
  • Provide a broad overview of functions provided by IBM Integration Bus.

Audience

This course is for system Integrators, middleware, messaging or application integration specialists, designers and architects, and anyone who requires an overview of IBM's flagship information broker - IIB - formerly known as WebSphere Message Broker.

This course is applicable to all versions of the IBM Integration Bus product up to the latest release level.

Prerequisites

An understanding of MQ would be advantageous and allow the delegate to get the most out of the course, but it is not essential.
