Overview
Participants will execute on core concepts critical to understanding performance problems and bottlenecks in modern multi-tier networked applications. In addition, they will analyze metrics collected using packet capture and inspection techniques. Participants will also gain hands on configuration and problem solving experience using the SteelCentralTM solutions described above. Finally, the course includes a brief introduction to SteelCentralTM AppInternals and discusses how it can be used to extend performance monitoring with server-side transaction tracing and environmental metric collection.

IT professionals involved in the planning, building and running of enterprise grade packet capture and analysis solutions that can be used monitor, triage, and troubleshoot network and application performance.
